Have you ever needed to send a quick rack diagram to a vendor, contractor or co-worker? Then this is the site for you. I got tired of over-priced products that did not directly serve this need without many complex licensing hoops. Datacenter Modeler allows you to create a row of Racks/Cabinets of varying U-Size. You then simply drag and drop components like a switch, router, server, patch panel, etc. into the rack where you want it placed. The application is developed without the need for a cloud account and stores none of your designs/data on the server. Instead I provided an export/import as JSON feature so you can in essence save/load your designs. You can also export a PDF report with the provided metadata for each piece of equipment such as manufacturer, access information, etc. There is no mandated fee for use, instead a donation system is presented each load of the application (Starving Developer and all…).
